Using Playwire to upload videos

PGN uses Playwire's Bolt player as it's main video player. PGN is also partnered with Playwire.com to bring you fast and smooth video playback. Here's a guide for editors on how to upload a video to Playwire.

Login to Playwire

If you don't have a PGN Playwire account, please file a support ticket since you need your PGN Playwire credentials to be able to login and upload videos.

Uploading a video

Click on Upload a video.

Don't forget to fill up the description with a Visit http://joinpgn.com/ for more information. message. After that you don't need to fill everything up. Just the video title, and category. Don't forget to check Show Video Watermark and Send this video to your YouTube account.

Setting up the video

Once you're done uploading the video, it's time to change the default thumbnail of the video. Click on your video's link to edit it. It's highly recommended that you choose the thumbnail with the brightest colours.

Getting the Javascript code

In order for you to include the video in your content, you need to get the Javascript code (not IFRAME or HTML).

YouTube Asset

If the press release gave you a YouTube link, then you need the Greasemonkey Download YouTube Videos as Mp4 script.
